North McKinney Interceptor Improvements, Phase I, Project Number 345 – North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD)

As the prime consultant to NTMWD, DAL-TECH was responsible for providing services that included condition assessment, TV inspections, design recommendations and reports, probable construction costs, land surveying, existing franchise utility research and verification, engineering design and construction management for the rehabilitation of approximately 12,000 LF of 36-inch diameter sanitary sewer interceptor pipe in Collin County.

Upon completing a thorough assessment of the existing pipe’s condition, as well as reviewing and incorporating NTMWD’s needs, DAL-TECH recommended utilizing trenchless rehabilitation techniques as the most efficient and cost effective approach. Cured-in-Place pipe (CIPP) was the option of choice for the entire 36-inch interceptor pipe.

In addition to pipe rehabilitation, this project also included the design of several new manholes and the rehabilitation of 15 existing manholes.
