Danieldale Road from IH-35E to Houston School Road – City of Lancaster/TxDOT – Lancaster, Texas
As the prime consultant, DAL-TECH was responsible for this roadway project which included 5,200 LF of pavement rehabilitation and drainage design, which were designed to TxDOT standards.
Engineering services included traffic signal plans for the Danieldale Road /Houston School Road intersection, franchise utility relocation coordination, Dallas Water Utilities coordination, traffic control sheets, hydraulic modeling, processed requests for CLOMR and LOMR, and application for Nationwide 404 Permit.
Survey services included design surveys, right-of-way recovery and verification, ownership research, preparation of acquisition documents and the establishment of primary horizontal and vertical control.
Additionally, DAL-TECH participated in public meetings, preparation of environmental documents seeking a Categorical Exclusion, and performance of periodic construction observation services, ROW acquisition services and appraisals. DAL-TECH was instrumental in assisting the City in receiving an additional 10% funding from Dallas County.
