Design Engineer

Prepare plans and specifications for civil engineering projects. Perform progress measurements, cost tracking, and planning/scheduling to accurately support construction execution; participate in collaborative work sequence planning and constructions issue resolution; and assist in design, production, and organizational work. Perform Engineering calculations and cost estimates; prepare construction documents, reports, and other engineering deliverables; and, assist with managing projects. Write project procedures; review plans for completeness and accuracy; and, develop strategies to ensure proposal competitiveness. Support proposal development, including technical writing, scheduling, and estimating; work with team to develop suitable solutions and scope of work; and, interpret planning documents, sketches, engineering drawings, and other similar material. Use Geo-Pack, MicroStation, Civil 3-D, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360 Software, Microsoft Office Suite applications, MS Project and utilize a thorough understanding of plans and specifications. Will work to obtain EIT and PE during employment.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related major, or equivalent, and two years of experience in job offered or two years of experience in Geo-Pak; MicroStation; Civil 3-D; AutoCAD; Revit; BIM 360 Software; Microsoft Office Suite applications; MS Project; and, with engineering plans and specifications.
