Josh possesses 5 years of practical experience in the civil engineering industry, with the majority of his experience accumulated as a design engineer.  Josh’s experience as a Project Manager and Design Engineer includes the design and production of engineering documents and drawings for wastewater treatment plant and water treatment plant improvement projects as well as preparing revised flow monitoring data and preparing meter performance reports.  His duties have also included the preparation of manhole defect summaries, pipe segment defect summaries, cost estimates, and the associated comprehensive technical and evaluation reports. Josh has been passionate about maintaining familiarity with alternative remediation techniques, which is exemplified by his past recommendations of trenchless technologies and excavation repairs. Other tasks performed by Josh are interpretation of inflow and infiltration (I/I) study data, the analysis of rainfall dependent inflow and infiltration (RDII) and the associated groundwater effects for use in modeling, the preparation of engineering reports, and development of construction cost estimates.  In addition his strong background in treatment plant and utility engineering, Josh has shown the ability to be an innovative thinker, as demonstrated by his use of GIS software and data to prepare engineering studies, recommendations and reports. Josh has also utilized this type of technology to aid in the development of hydrologic and hydraulic models. Josh’s additional skills include MicroStation, AutoCad Civil 3D, EPA SWMM, EPA SSOAP, XP SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and ArcGIS.
